What sizes of storage units do you offer?

At Hanley we offer: 20ft × 8ft, 10ft × 8ft, 40ft × 8ft, 8ft × 7ft, 5ft × 8ft, and Warehouse Units.

Can I store documents, business records, or archives?

Yes – our units are suitable for document and business storage.

Can I work from my storage unit?

In some cases, yes. Depending on your business type, you may be able to work from your unit at Hanley. Please discuss your requirements with the goBigstorage team so we can confirm suitability and approval.

Do the units have electricity or water?

No – units are dry and secure but have no utilities inside.

Are there any prohibited items?

Yes – you cannot store illegal or hazardous goods, cash, jewellery, pets, plants, perishable food, unsealed food items, or weapons.

Can I leave items outside my unit?

No – items left outside may be removed or disposed of.

Security & Access

What security is in place?

CCTV, palisade fencing, and secure gated entry.

Do I need my own padlock?

No – goBigstorage provides high-security container padlocks that fit inside the lockbox. Customers are welcome to add their own padlock to overlock the latch bars if they wish.

What are the access hours?

Hanley customers benefit from 24/7 access.

Could my unit ever be moved?

Rarely, for maintenance. If this happens, you will be notified in advance and all costs covered.

Yes – insurance is required. You can either take cover through goBigstorage at the time of booking or provide evidence of your own insurance policy.

Do you provide moving help?

Yes – we can recommend trusted removal partners.

Is a deposit required?
